German steelworkers accept staggered pay rise
German trade union IG Metall and the association of steel employers have agreed a settlement in this year’s pay dispute. This followed 12 hours of negotiations in Gelsenkirchen, which concluded in the early morning of 8 July, according to an IG Metall statement sent to Kallanish.
