German engineering steel distributor has new owner
Dewald Stahl, a distributor of bright bar and engineering steels, has been acquired by hardware retailer/reseller Lotter. Ludwigsburg-based Lotter is a group with 40 locations selling into the construction market. Its steel portfolio covers mainly standard grades used in construction and includes rebar and a variety of rolled steels such as sheet, merchant bar, plate, and precision pipes.
