June start-up for Gerdau-Corsa Mexican rolling mill, reports say.
The Gerdau-Corsa new long products joint venture located in Sahagún industrial park in Hidalgo state, Mexico is expected to start operating in June 2015, Kallanish learns from local reports.
The first phase will involve only the rolling mill, which has a yearly capacity of 700,000 tonnes. The beams, channels and angles produced in the facility will be mainly absorbed by the Mexican market whilst the remaining 10% will be exported to other Latin Americ…
