Gazprom terminates Saipem contract for Turkish Stream
Italy’s Saipem has received notification from Gazprom of the termination of the contract for line 1 under the South Stream Offshore Pipeline framework agreement, initially signed in 2014. The contract relates to the prospective Turkish Stream pipeline.
The decision was made because the two sides were unable to reach an agreement on numerous operational and commercial issues related Turkish Stream, Kallanish learns from Gazprom.
