Future for UKs structural steelwork sector is bright, says BCSA
Use of structural steelwork in the UK is expected to grow by 9% this year to 895,000 tonnes, following a smaller 6% rise last year to 818,000t, according to a market study by the UK’s Construction Markets, monitored by Kallanish. After that, growth will continue at a steadier 3% /year, reaching 972,000t by 2018, it adds.
