French car production falls year-on-year in May
French passenger car output decreased by -4% in May compared to the same period in 2014, French carmakers’ association CCFA confirms to Kallanish. In the first five months of 2015 however, the French car market again showed positive growth of almost 4% year-on-year.
In May, the output of light vehicles of less than 5.1 tonnes, fell by almost -9% y-o-y. Production in this category also decreased by almost -2% y-o-y over the first 5 months of the year.
