Freight rate rebound could hit mill margins
International freight rates have rebounded sharply in percentage terms in June on signs that the capsize market in particular is working hard to rebalance supply with demand. A further increase in freight rates would minimise the benefit of falling iron ore prices to steel mills, Kallanish notes.
