Falling worldwide working-rig count slows in June, Baker Hughes finds
The sliding working-rig count worldwide slowed in June to just into double-digit territory, oilfield services firm Baker Hughes reported in its latest rig count survey, monitored by Kallanish.
The international rig count in June totalled 1,146, down 12 units, or just -1%, from 1,158 rigs in May, and down 198, or -14.7%, from 1,344 working rigs counted in June 2014, according to Baker Hughes.
