Exports boost Slovenian special steelmaker's 2014 revenue despite price slump
Increased exports and higher value-added products output helped Special steelmaker Slovenian Steel Group (SIJ) boost its revenue by 7% year-on-year in 2014 to €707.8 million ($805.6m). This came despite stronger downward pressure on prices last year. Net profit totalled €25m compared to a loss of €5m a year earlier.
