Russia's Evraz sums up North American market for plate and tubes
In its recent operations update, Russia’s Evraz says its North American business produced roughly 8-9% less crude steel and steel products last year because of the shutdown of Evraz Claymont in the fourth quarter or 2013. Excluding Claymont, the North America's output of both crude and steel products increased by 3% and 4% to almost 2 million tonnes and 2.55mt, respectively.
