European steel demand to continue to grow in mid-to-longterm
Global steel overcapacity is to remain a factor for at least a few years. However, in Europe, industrial steel user sectors are expected to grow their activity in 2015 with better trends for the appliances and automotive sectors. These are seen to grow by almost 3% and 5% respectively, steel industry heavyweight Antonio Marcegaglia told Kallanish on the sidelines of a conference organised by World Steel Dynamics.
