Europe puts duties on Chinese, Taiwanese stainless CRC
The European Union has announced that duties will be imposed on imports of stainless steel cold rolled coil and sheet from China and Taiwan starting 26 March. The duties will be in place for six months until September, but are likely to be made permanent after a final decision then, Kallanish notes.
Duties will be levied at 10.9-25.2% depending on the supplier (see table). The products on which duties will be applied fall under HS codes 7219.31-35 and 7220.2…
