Europe may see tube prices uptick after the summer
Some European tube makers may increase their list prices due to improved sales volumes at both their northern and southern European facilities, market sources say. Europe may see tube prices increase by €20/tonne ($22/t) on average after summer.
French, Italian and Spanish distributors interviewed by Kallanish also confirmed their improved tube sales volumes that – unlike flat and long products – drove sales over the past quarter.
