Italian electricity costs come under scrutiny at ArcelorMittal Magona
Politicians, trade unions and company representatives met on 14 January at Italy’s Ministry of Economic Development to discuss an impasse over energy costs at ArcelorMittal’s Magona plant in Piombino, Kallanish learns.
In attendance were vice-Minister of Economic Development Claudio de Vicenti, ArcelorMittal Magona director Leandro Nannipieri and representatives from metalworkers unions Fim, Fiom and Uilm.
