Egypt domestic rebar sales surge 26% in March to highest since 2013
Egypt’s steel producers increased domestic rebar sales 25.8% on-year in March to 792,900 tonnes, the highest monthly tonnage since June 2013. This was immediately before former president Mohammed Morsi’s ousting led to widespread unrest, which hit economic output.
