Dumping causes 2 tube mill closures, says US Steel
United States Steel Corporation (US Steel) will indefinitely idle two steel tubemaking facilities in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, and Bellville, Texas, because of “foreign dumping”, it says. US Steel blames “business conditions, which are influenced by unfairly traded tubular products imported into the United States” [see associated story].
