Dillinger supplies plate for Clair Ridge project in North Sea
Following last week’s installation of the “topside“ modules, construction of the Clair Ridge oil project off the coast of the Shetland Islands moves close to being ready for production, scheduled for 2016.
All of the heavy plate steel required for both the jackets (39,200 tonnes) and topside modules (20,800t) is being supplied by Dillinger Hütte and its subsidiary Dillinger France in Dunkirk.
