Deutsche Edelstahlwerke invests in heat treatment at Siegen and Witten
Long speciality products maker Deutsche Edelstahlwerke (DEW) is investing €14 million ($15.4 million) by beginning modernisation works at two plants in Siegen and Witten during the summer shutdown period.
In Siegen, DEW is exchanging elements at the cooling bed for improving the forming process of bars between 20-90mm in diameter. The overhaul is being carried out between mid-July and mid-August.
