Cosco receives four Valemax for Singapore subsidiary
China Ocean Shipping Company (Cosco) took delivery of four 400,000 deadweight tonne Valemax very large ore carriers (VLOC) on 2 June, the company says. The ships will deliver iron ore from Brazil’s Vale to Asian destinations, allowing the miner to minimise its shipping costs, Kallanish notes.
