Citic to stay at Cape Preston after court ruling

The Australian Federal Court has dismissed an application by Mineralogy – a company owned by MP Clive Palmer – to remove China’s Citic as operator of the Cape Preston iron ore port in Western Australia, Kallanish learns. The court also said Mineralogy could not act on termination notices it had previously issued to Citic. Mineralogy had alleged that Citic was meant to hand over control of the port after construction was completed.…
