Chinese steel prices stabilise for now
China’s steel futures contracts remained weak on Tuesday but managed to hold off Monday’s low close. Meanwhile, iron ore trading continued to focus on indices with two trades signed on GlobalORE. The uncertain impact of the APEC meeting in Beijing and a slight decline in iron ore port stocks and steel market inventories appeared to support the current level for now, Kallanish reports.
