Chinese steel adjustment policy on wrong track say western steelmakers
A posse of steelmaker associations from Europe and the Americas have joined the debate on China’s recently revised “Steel Adjustment Policy”. The group says that the policy “… does not meaningfully address China's steel overcapacity and enables continued government control and financial assistance over China's steel industry”. China may well disagree with these comments, Kallanish observes.
