Chinese mining tycoon faces death sentence for criminal gang activity
Liu Han, former head of Chinese mining conglomerate Sichuan Hanlong Group, has been sentenced to death in a Hubei court after being found guilty of “organising and leading mafia-style crime and murder", Kallanish learns from local sources in China. The tycoon is believed to have links to China's former Chinese Government security chief Zhou Yongkang who may also come under further scrutiny following this decision, sources say.
