Chinese miner to build Nigerian steel plant
Nigeria’s steel production could be partially remedied by a new 500,000 tonnes/year Chinese-invested re-roller, according to local media reports. The plant would be part of a wave of recently announced investments by Chinese companies in Africa’s steel industry, Kallanish notes.
