Chinese-owned French forge goes into liquidation
No potential buyer has officially emerged for Manoir Industries’ Custines forge in Northern France, a member of the workers’ association for the site tells Kallanish. The extended legal period for expressions of interest in the facility has now expired.
The company has been officially declared in liquidation by the Tribunal of Commerce of Paris. Manoir Industries is owned by Chinese group Chinese Yantai Taihai after having been acquired in 2012.T…
