Chinese group struggles to offload French forge
With the legal period for expressions of interest now expired, no potential buyer has officially emerged for Manoir Industries’ Custines forge in Northern France. However, a commercial tribunal in Paris has said that it will extend its “observation period” until 18 May to allow potential buyers to finalise their proposals, a member of the workers’ association for the site tells Kallanish.
