China releases new capacity removal targets
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released its third list of iron and steelmaking capacities to be removed by the end of the year. Beijing’s focus remains on Hebei, with all proposed closures located in the province, Kallanish notes.
