China high-rise uses new ArcelorMittal modular beam building system
A high-rise building in China built with beams from one of ArcelorMittal’s European factories has taken only 19 days to be completed.
The 204-metre high building in the city of Changsha was built at a rate of three storeys per day using a modular construction technique using “Lego-like” blocks. Spanning 80,000 square metres over 57 floors, the iconic high-rise known as “Mini Sky City” will provide 800 apartments and office space…
