China steel exports to ASEAN surge through end September 2014 - especially alloy
In its latest market report, monitored by Kallanish, South East Asia steel producers’ association SEAISI says that Chinese exports into the region surged year-on-year during January to September 2014. The re-classification of plain carbon products to alloy steel by Chinese exporters to avoid export taxes was also evident, SEAISI says.
