China approves $112 billion of railway projects
China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved new rail projects worth Yuan 199.86 billion ($32.5bn), allowing them to begin generating steel demand. This follows the approval of nine other railway projects in October, Kallanish notes.
