China Steel plans BF revamp
Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) will shut down its No.3 blast furnace ahead of schedule and re-commission in 2018 after a major refurbishment, the company says. The company did not say how its overall output of around 10 million tonnes/year would be affected, Kallanish notes.
