Russia's CherMK contracts SMS for CR mill revamp
Cherepovets Steel Mill (CherMK), part of the Russian steel division of Severstal, is on course to commission its revamped 4-stand cold-rolling mill in the first half of 2016, the mill tells Kallanish. The company signed a contract with Germany’s SMS Siemag in April this year. The total project is valued at over Rbs2 billion ($50m).
