Capitol Steel seeks tax break for rebar expansion
Capitol Steel in the Philippines has proposed that it should receive a three-year tax holiday in order to support expansion of its rebar rolling capacity, local media reports. The move would almost double capacity to 1.5 million tonnes/year and increase Philippine demand for imported billet by the same quantity, Kallanish notes.
