Canadian trade case versus Chinese line pipe moves forward
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has initiated its preliminary injury inquiry into a complaint against line pipe imports from China at the request of Tenaris Canada and Evraz North America. The CITT is an independent quasi-judicial body reporting to the government.
The inquiry is being conducted alongside the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) dumping and subsidising investigations (see Kallanish, 30 August 2015).
