Canadian iron ore producer Labrador halts production for 2014
Canadian iron ore producer Labrador Iron Mines (LIM) says that it has not re-started its mine operating activities for the 2014 operating activities for a combination of reasons including “…the prevailing low price of iron ore in 2014 to date…”. The announcement was made in conjunction with LIM’s operating results statement for its fiscal year ending March 2014.
