Canada's Algoma reaches port agreement in bankruptcy case
Canadian steel producer Algoma has cleared one of the final hurdles in resolving its bankruptcy protection case.
Algoma and an unidentified buyer have agreed in principle on the sale of the port in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.
If a final agreement is reached, Algoma will be sold to a British Columbia-registered company, Kallanish reports.
