CNPC completes Fujian SSAW mill
The China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has completed installing equipment at a 150,000 tonnes/year spiral submerged arc welded pipe mill in the southeastern province of Fujian and expects to formally commission the SSAW plant in the first quarter. The future of the mill is tied to the development of natural gas and imported LNG markets, Kallanish notes.
