Brazil seals off its seamless pipe market from Chinese imports
Brazil announced its final determination of anti-dumping duties on imports of certain seamless pipes from China on 31 October, effectively cutting off the last remaining corner of the country’s seamless pipe market from Chinese suppliers. The country now has four sets of duties in place to protect its sole domestic producer, Vallourec & Mannesmann from Chinese competition.
