Bowen coal production, sales rise in June quarter
Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal reported higher coal production and sales in the June quarter, underpinned by stronger operational performance at both its Broadmeadow East and Bluff mines in Queensland, Australia, Kallanish notes.
The group says its June-quarter run-of-mine (ROM) coal production of 596,000 tonnes was up 27.3% on the prior period. This brought half-year coal production to 1.66 million tonnes.
