Sail's Bokaro CR mill continues commissioning despite explosion
Wednesday’s explosion at the hydrogen plant of the Steel Authority of India (Sail) cold rolling mill-3 at Bokaro has not affected production as CRM-3 is yet to be commissioned, a Sail representative tells Kallanish.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the explosion. The newly installed CRM-3 is “… not engaged in commercial production; it is undergoing stabilisation in the final phase of commissioning”, the source says.
