Bhushan denies any negotiation with JSW for Odisha plant
India’s Bhushan Steel has strongly denied that it is to sell its steel plant in Odisha, Kallanish learns from a statement by the company to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Indian media reports on 1 December suggested that the troubled steelmaker was looking to sell the Odisha facility to JSW Steel. In a response to a request for clarification from the stock exchange, Bhushan says that: “No negotiation with JSW or any other buyer has taken place”…
