Bhushan Steel denies reports it is in talks for sale
Indian flat steelmaker and pipe producer Bhushan Steel has refuted reports that its lenders are looking to sell the firm, saying it is “incorrect and denied”, Kallanish learns from the company.
Reports say SBI Capital has been appointed as advisor to the deal, and is in talks with two major Indian steelmakers. Lenders are reported to have become restless after Bhushan Steel's vice chairman, Neeraj Singhal was implicated in alleged corruption.…
