Beshay Steel to begin trials at delayed new DRI plant
Egyptian long steelmaker Beshay Steel will begin trials later this month at its long-delayed new direct reduced iron plant, according to the Arab Iron and Steel Union (AISU). The unit will aim to reduce steelmaking costs by eliminating the need for costly scrap imports.
