Beihai Chengde starts work on pickling line
Southern Chinese stainless steelmaker Beihai Chengde has begun construction of the heating furnace of a new continuous annealing and pickling line on 29 June. This is according to project contractor China Metallurgical Group (MCC) Mechanical and Electrical Construction Company. The line will add value to its recently commissioned 1.2 million tonnes/year cold rolling line, Kallanish notes.
