Beihai Chengde expands stainless slab capacity
Southern China’s Beihai Chengde Stainless Steel has commissioned the first phase of its crude steel and slab casting expansion, according to project contractor Beris Engineering and Research. The expansion brings its capacity to around 2.5 million tonnes/year and another 900,000 t/y phase is planned, Kallanish understands.
