Beihai Chengde commissions stainless CRC expansion
Beihai Chengde Stainless Steel in southern China’s Guangxi province commissioned a pickling line on 14 March, the final stage of its 1.2 million tonne/year stainless steel cold rolled coil expansion, according to local reports. The company has expanded rapidly since it first began production in 2011 to become an important mid-sized player in China’s stainless steel market, Kallanish notes.
