Bathurst total resources fall in FY23
New Zealand-based coal producer Bathurst Resources has seen its resources in the year ended June 30, 2023, (FY23) fall due to the closure of mines and mine depletion, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a statement that the total resources for the firm fell to 162.1 million tonnes in FY23 from 167.9mt a year ago.
The notable changes for the year include the closure of its Canterbury Coal mine, which accounted for a 3.1mt reduction in the total resource.
