Baotou upgrades rail rolling line
Northern China’s Baotou Iron and Steel has put into operation a new rail hardening technology, the first of its kind globally, according to supplier Siemens metal technologies. Baotou itself has been struggling with surging financial costs but its steel business has seen margins improving, Kallanish notes.
