Baotou commissions silicon steel annealing line
Northern China’s Baotou Iron and Steel commissioned a new annealing line for its non-grain oriented silicon steel on 24 December, following a pickling line commissioned the previous day. The investments are part of its 5 million tonnes/year move into higher-quality flat products, Kallanish notes.
