Baosteel upgrades silicon steel furnace
China’s Baosteel has commissioned its local branch of the China Metallurgical Group (MCC) to build a new annealing furnace for a silicon steel plant. Work on the new line in Baoshan will begin in October this year and is due for completion in December 2016, it says.
